Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CreateVid ("we", "us", or "our") and the services available at createvid.co. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Use of Services

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. CreateVid provides AI-powered video generation using third-party AI models; output quality, availability, and processing times may vary.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use our services. By using CreateVid, you represent that you meet this requirement.

User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Credits, Subscriptions, and Payments

CreateVid operates on a credit-based model with optional subscription plans.

  • Credits: Video generation consumes credits based on the model, resolution, and duration selected. Credit costs are displayed before generation.
  • Subscriptions: Monthly and annual subscription plans provide recurring credits and are billed in advance through PayPal. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Credit Packs: One-time credit purchases are available and do not expire as long as your account remains active.
  • Refunds: Due to the computational cost of AI video generation, credits are non-refundable once consumed. Unused credits from subscriptions may be refundable within 7 days of purchase at our discretion, provided no generation has occurred.
  • Failed Generations: If a generation fails due to our system error, consumed credits will be automatically refunded to your account.
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to change pricing. Existing subscriptions will honor their current rate until the next renewal.

Intellectual Property

Our website and its original content, features, and functionality (excluding user-generated content) are owned by CreateVid and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

User Content and Generated Output

Your Content

You retain all rights to any prompts, images, or other content you submit to our services. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service.

Generated Videos

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and the terms of the underlying AI model providers, you own the videos you generate through CreateVid and may use them for personal or commercial purposes. Note that AI-generated content may not be copyrightable in some jurisdictions.

Content Requirements

Before uploading any image or submitting any prompt, you confirm that:

  • You have the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions for the content you upload.
  • If your content contains identifiable individuals, you have obtained their explicit consent.
  • Your content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use our services in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or promotes violence or discrimination
  • Generate sexually explicit content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or deepfakes intended to deceive or harm
  • Generate content impersonating real individuals without their consent
  • Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of our services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, networks, or other users' accounts
  • Use our services to distribute malware or other harmful code
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse our API beyond documented rate limits
  • Resell credits or generated content in bulk without written permission
  • Use automated systems or bots to create accounts or generate content at scale outside of our official API

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason — including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Unused credits may be forfeited in the case of termination due to Terms violations.

Disclaimers

CreateVid relies on third-party AI model providers (including but not limited to Seedance, Wan, Veo, and Kling via kie.ai). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or output quality of these underlying models. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, artifacts, or unintended elements.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall CreateVid be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or generated content, resulting from your use of or inability to use our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CreateVid, its affiliates, and their respective officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make changes, we will provide notice by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Fair-Use Policy

To keep CreateVid sustainable for all users, the following limits apply:

  1. Veo 3.1 Quality monthly limit: Starter 3/month, Pro 15/month, Studio 40/month. Attempts beyond the limit are rejected with a clear error message. Quotas reset on the first day of each calendar month (UTC).
  2. Studio daily soft cap: 1,500 credits/day. Above this threshold, generations are still processed but enter the standard priority queue. The cap resets at 00:00 UTC daily.
  3. Credit rollover: Unused subscription credits roll over for 30 days after the billing period ends, then expire automatically. Credit pack credits are valid for 90, 180, or 365 days depending on the pack.
  4. Anti-abuse: Accounts found using automation, bots, scripts, or any means to circumvent rate limits, or that resell access to our platform, will be suspended without refund.
  5. Refund policy: Failed generations (due to a platform error) are automatically refunded to your credit balance within minutes. Successful generations are non-refundable once the video output has been delivered.
